Contains an account of the various heke of Ngati Toa and Te Ati Awa to the Kapiti district between 1820 and 1833, with reference to inter-tribal wars and disputes during this period.
Rangipito use's the term "Uruuru-purumu" to describe the 19th century musket used by Maori.
