Tai Chi Chuan 太极拳: A demonstration by Keith McEwing of hand forms in different styles, a weapon form, using a combination of styles, with the fan, followed by a Qi Gong set that people will be invited to join in (Tai Chi Qigong Shibashi太極氣功十八式). The session will finish with an interview with Keith and an opportunity for people to ask him questions.

Tai Chi Chuan 太极拳 demonstration

Tai Chi Chuan 太极拳 is a Chinese martial art that developed at the end of the Ming Dynasty (early 17th Century) from a base of earlier traditional forms of martial arts.

Keith McEwing will perform Tai Chi Chuan hand forms in different styles — Chen 陳, Yang 楊 and Sun 孙 — and a weapon form, using a combination of styles, with the fan (lasting in total about 20 minutes).

He will then invite those that are willing to join in some Qi Gong movements (Tai Chi Qigong Shibashi太極氣功十八式, lasting about 15 minutes).

This event will be delivered using Zoom.

You do not need to install the software in order to attend, you can opt to instead run zoom from your browser.
