Contains architectural studies and miscellaneous engravings and portraits (some Medley family, but all non-New Zealand). Architectural studies are of buildings in Cornwall, Oxford (England), and Fredericton and Campobello, both New Brunswick.
Folder contains detailed inventory of all works contained.
Inscriptions: Variously inscribed, often with title.
Artist, born in England, probably Cornwall, but mostly raised in Canada. He travelled as a child during the 1850s around England, and returned to Fredericton, New Brunswick, where his father John Medley was the first bishop of Christ Church Cathedral.

Provenance: Cranleigh Barton's great aunt was Mary Catherine Taylor who married Spencer Mansel Medley, a brother of Edward Shuttleworth Medley.

Description: A side view of a sculpture of William III of England on horseback. The king is dressed in the uniform of a Roman solider and has a laurel wreath on his head.
