- Description
Two older Chinese women are seen in the entrance to the Paramount Theatre in Courtenay Place, Wellington (frames 1 to 6). A young child is sharing a bag of chippies whith them (frames 5 & 6). Frames 7 & 8 were also taken in Courtenay Place outside the Paramount Theatre showing a young family (mother holding a toddler by the hand, father carrying a baby in his arms, and a small boy pushing another baby in a push-chair). The last three images (frames 10 to 12) were taken in a classroom at Thorndon Primary School. Groups of children are sitting on the floor, chairs upside down on desks in the background. Several children are sitting around a large basket of Lego pieces (frames 10 & 11). Unless otherwise stated, all persons are unidentified. Photographs taken by Ans Westra.
