- Description
Digital cartoons by Guy Body on political and social issues in New Zealand and internationally. Cartoon depicts a battle between New Zealand and the COVID-19 virus. New Zealand's post, littered with discarded syringes and masks, has been deserted, and the army of COVID-19 virus molecules begins approaching. Two of the virus molecules depicted in army uniforms are saying "They haven't actually surrendered, sir - they're just trying a new strategy of pretending we don't matter". This refers to the New Zealand Government's changing approach to COVID-19, such as decisions to remove vaccine mandates.
