Shows Jim Anderton standing on a stool with his head down the barrel of a giant pistol about to be fired. He shouts an echoing 'Halloooooooooo!!!' into the barrel. Possibly refers to the sale of the BNZ by the Labour government, to which Anderton was opposed and consequently disobeyed party instructions to vote in favour of selling the bank. Prime Minister David Lange was quoted as saying that those members who abstained or were opposed to supporting majority decisions of the caucus effectively 'turned the pistol on themselves' (Source of cartoon's quote by Lange not found)
