- Description
Cartoon commenting on the recent allegations by MP Shane Jones against Countdown supermarket and its parent corporation against New Zealand food suppliers. Accompanying note from the cartoonist states, "Shane Jones did well to raise in Parliament serious claims of blackmail of New Zealand suppliers by Countdown supermarkets that had been brought to his attention. But equally worrying is the pack-like behaviour of those seeking to shut him up. The three people depicted in the cartoon are John Key, John Albertson (Chief Executive of the NZ Retailers Association), Shane Jones, and John Banks."
