- Description
Three drivers line up for a car race. Their licence plates read 'SJ', 'GR' and 'DC'. All have the same thought: 'With the road-show now complete, the two losers will gracefully give way to the deserved victor...Before rear-ending him at the first intersection when he fails to look in his mirror!'
The competition for the Labour Party leadership between Shane Jones, Grant Robertson and David Cunliffe included travelling to meetings where the candidates hoped to win votes from Labour Party members. Whoever won would find that the other competitors, despite their protestations of loyalty would still harbour ambitions of replacing the winner.
