Kim Jong Un, the President of North Korea, reads of the United States developing a laser weapon. He exclaims that 'Your evil Western technology cannot scare me!'. But then he telephones George Lucas, the creator of the Star Wars films, and asks about 'Your Death Star thingy'. George Lucas replies that Kim Jong Un will have to call Disney about it.
George Lucas has sold his rights in the Star Wars film series to the Disney Corporation. North Korea follows its strategy of veering to the brink of war without actually going over the edge. There is a certain pragmatic method in its 'unrealistic' game of 'chicken'.
