Photographs of Christchurch CBD Red Zone showing the effects of the 2010 and 2011 Canterbury earthquakes and the recovery effort, taken 23 March 2012.
Includes photographs of demolition sites (Shands [Shades] Arcade, Brannigans building, Hotel Grand Chancellor, BNZ building), damage to the Christchurch Cathedral (in particular the Rose window), views from Victoria Square, salvaged stone and windows from 205 Manchester Street building, buildings with large steel strut braces across the front, cleared sites, intersections, interior view of the Christchurch City Library with books on the floor.
Arrangement: Files were originally delivered to the Library within a folder called "Mar 23 - CBD red zone"
