Shades Arcade (Christchurch, N.Z.)

Located at 108 Hereford Street, Christchurch. Formerly the site of the Shades Hotel (opened 1861) which closed in 1959. In 1978, the site was converted to an arcade which housed restaurants and shops, and acted as a walkway from 108 Hereford Street to Cashel Street.
