'The Politician' cartoon strip. A journalistic is amazed that it has taken two years to discover that data can be hacked from government files. The minister's aide tries to save face by adding that the security system does prevent the staff from accessing the files. Context: The Ministry of Social Development has faced problems several times about the security of the personal files being compromised. In the latest incident internet kiosks around the country have been shut down and a ministry investigation launched, after blogger Keith Ng reported he was able to access thousands of files on the agency's servers from the kiosks in a Wellington WINZ office.
