Shows a set of scales in which the fee paid to Justice Binnie far outweighs the compensation that David Bain might receive. Context: David Bain was acquitted of the murder of his parents and siblings in 2009. The cartoon addresses the question of whether Bain should receive compensation for the 13 years he spent in prison. The government has paid $400,000 so far to Justice Binnie who was employed to determine whether David Bain should receive compensation.
