Description

Shows Ben Couch, Minister of Maori Affairs, dropping a 'clanger' that represents 'Apartheid' onto the foot of Duncan MacIntyre, Minister of Foreign Affairs. Context: Ben Couch (Maori himself) was Minister of Police and Minister of Maori Affairs and a former All Black. He made an injudicious remark in support of the South African Government's "apartheid" system and Springbok tours which embarrassed Duncan MacIntyre, Minister of Foreign affairs.
