Description

Undated photographs of stained glass church windows designed by F V Ellis, and an unexecuted design. Also one of Ellis working on the cartoon of a World War I memorial window, possibly at Dunedin Technical College, circa 1922. Shows designs created from circa 1922 to ca 1954.

Included are - Second World War memorial windows in Auckland Museum. First World War memorial window in the Hunter Building, Victoria University, Wellington. Second World War memorial window, Timaru Boys' High school, designed ca 1954. Three windows in St John's Anglican Church, Wakefield, Tasman Bay, designed in 1951. Three stained glass windows possibly in a Presbyterian Church, Rotorua. Stained glass window possibly in a church, Waikaka, Southland.
