Photographs relating to the Canterbury earthquakes of 2010 and 2011 taken 27 May 2011 by Ross Becker. All taken in the red zone, the centre of Christchurch city which was cordoned off after 22 February 2011, and particularly document Lichfield and Hereford Streets.
One image shows the photographer about the enter the red zone.
The other images chiefly show exterior views of damage to individual commercial and public buildings. Includes images of cracking in Kenton Chambers in Hereford Street, the leaning Hotel Grand Chancellor and the site of the CTV (Canterbury Televsion) building.
Also includes a few images of roads and scenes inside buildings.
