Description

Promotional booklet for Bromley Park, "the home of bonny chicks". There is a foreword from the proprietor Les Batkin, photographs of the interior of the brooding house, the enclosures for pullets, the Harrison "Perfect" brooder made of galvanised iron and crimp wire, an aerial view of the farm, price lists for white leghorns, black orpingtons, Rhode Island reds, barred Plymouth Rocks. There are pages advertising modern appliances such as drip nipples, water fountains, feed hoppers, water valves; and a photograph of the Bromley Park Midget, an enclosure for those who wish to raise fewer than 30 chickens.
