Shows a man in a loose red knee-length cape or robe, holding a flute about two feet long, and blowing through it with his nose. The image is loosely based on an engraving after Sydney Parkinson's 'The lad Taiyota, native of Otaheite ...' (London, 1773) from James Cook's first voyage to the Pacific.
