These folders are White's manuscript versions of Ancient History of the Maori and include volumes which were prepared but not published before his death
Includes story of the arrival of the Tainui waka (canoe) comamnded by Hoturoa; history and whakapapa of Ngati Tahinga and Waikato, and more extensive history of the Ngati Toa and Ngati Rarua tribes of Kawhia with supporting whakapapa.
