Toarangatira, active 1700?

Toarangatira was the last born child of Korokino of Ngāti Mango and Tūwhareiti of Ngāti Mutunga. His respective grandparents were Tūpāhau, a famous warrior chief of Tainui, and Mutunga himself. Toa grew to distinguish himself on the battle field and in tribal counsel.
