The papers also include information about the arrival of the Te Arawa canoe and the Kurahaupo canoe, the legend of Hatupatu, details of Rongomaiwahine's relationship with Kahungunu, and discussions of Maori customary concepts including hau, hoa, mana, kura, whatukura and kawa; Some of this material is in JPS V 2 p168-171, 199-207.
