Inscriptions: Photographer's title on negative - bottom right - Wellin [sic]; Verso - Messrs F Bradley & Co., Box 374, P.O., Christchurch. Photographic Publishers, & C. Views and Landscapes of New Zealand. No 25 Wellington. This city, which is the seat of Government, is situated on the shore of Lambton Quay. There are several well constructed quays and piers stretching along the shore, and at the principal one of these, the Queen's Wharf, vessels of over 2000 tons register can lie with ease and safety.
