Collection comprises six typewritten reminiscences recording O'Grady's adventures collecting autographs during and after the war throughout Ireland, England, France and Belgium. Some of the signatures were obtained from Madame Melba; English Premier Lloyd George; Cardinal Mercier; His Royal Highness, The Prince of Wales; President Raymond Poincare of France and President Eamon de Valera of Ireland. Selected names indexed.

Corporal O'Grady served with the Otago Infantry Regiment E Company during World War I. Later in his career O'Grady became a journalist. It is during this period of his life that these wartime reminiscences were written.
