Most photographs are unidentified. Mainly photographs taken during advance, etc on Faenza. Captioned photos include: Bridge of boats over River Sangro built by Indian sappers; first tanks to enter Rimini; Sherman tank of NZ Armoured Brigade; German POW; sawing wood in the snow; Ski patrol; flood damage; battle scenes and damaged buildings.
Two photographs of dinner party given by Lt General Sir Richard McCreary, British 8th Army Commander. NZers included were Sgt J R Robinson, Pte Harry Parker, & A D Deavoll.
On 2 Oct 1943 the New Zealand Division was moved from Egypt to support the 8th Army in Italy.
