Description

The cartoon shows an athletics dais on which stand the first, second and third winners at 'The Foot-in-mouth Games'. A man stands partially offscreen holding a medal that he is about to present. The winner is Paul Henry for making two racist comments in two weeks in the TV1 Breakfast programme, the first about the Governor General Sir Anand Satyanand and the second about Indian Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit; second is Chris Carter who has been dumped from the Labour party after a botched attempt to overthrow leader Phil Goff; and third is Michael Laws former mayor of Whanganui who also made offensive comments about the governor general.
