Includes three inset maps: One of the river and bridges (shown over three dates - 1847, 1863 and 1872); an enlarged section of the township (naming stores, hotels, schools and council buildings); and the proposed township of Richmond, 1859.

Includes graph showing the growth of the white population over the time period.
