The cartoon shows Hone Harawira Maori Party MP walking along with a lemon for a head. He says that he has found his electoral meetings 'very, very fruitful'. Refers to the unofficial sidetrip taken by Harawira and his wife to Paris while in Europe at tax-payers' expense. Hone Harawira was widely criticised for this as well as his use of foul language and strong anti-Pakeha comments in an email. Harawira has caused the Maori Party to risk losing credibility and there has been debate about whether he should remain in the party. He has had to make an apology. Mr Harawira has spent nearly two weeks time in his Tai Tokerau electorate talking to elders and others about his future, after being asked to consider leaving by party leaders.
