Description

The first frame shows a frightened-looking parrot named 'SIT' in a cage. The second frame shows a man wearing a Santa hat and a malevolent smile peering round the edge of the cartoon as a roast turkey (or parrot) steams on a plate nearby. Refers to the proposed funding cuts to the Southern Institute of Technology (SIT) which could effect the economic viability of the whole region. Pun on 'Polly' the parrot and 'Poly' short for polytech.
