Jaimee is determined not to be cynical about ministerial housing allowances and Telethon and is not going to be mean about Variation 11. She says she is sure that any 'oversized variation of a matchbox on-its-side that they choose to block views with will be just lovely'. Debbie is unsure about how serious Jaimee is. Variation 11 is a Wellington City plan to change the rules controlling new buildings on the waterfront. It wants to reduce the public's right to challenge new buildings being planned for publicly-owned land on the city's waterfront.
