An Australian farmer wearing a black singlet and hat with corks and holding a bottle of beer tells a family of aborigines that it was not hard to make the apology because they were shown how by the crocodile that weeps nearby. Refers to the apology made by Australian Prime Minister, Kevin Rudd, 13th February, 2008 to the aborigines of Australia and particularly to the 'lost generation', those children who were taken from their parents to try to integrate them into white society over the period from the late 19th century to well past the mid 20th century. The suggestion is that the apology smacks of 'crocodile tears', that is, is not sincere - a cynical view!
