- Description
Shows a money machine in the street which is labelled E.F.A. cash. A man representing 'Taxpayers' walks away grinning with money in his hand while a line of political party leaders headed by Prime Minister, Helen Clark, queue at the machine which has declined Helen Clark's attempt to withdraw money. The people in the queue are Helen Clark, John Key (National), Rodney Hide (ACT), Winston Peters (NZ First), Jeanette Fitzsimons (Greens), Peter Dunne (United Future) and Jim Anderton (Progressives). Refers to the botched Electoral Finance Act which was intended to curb election spending but which is causing problems because it is so hard to interpret.
