Each card/montage records the activities of the Fleming family for the year, their holiday and recreational activities, their involvment in the Royal Society of New Zealand, UNESCO, Australian and NZ Association for the Advancement of Science, the International Federation of University Women, the Y.W.C.A., the Entomological Society of New Zealand, the Save Manapouri Campaign, Native Forests Action Council, NZ Geological Survey, etc.
