Photographs recording a journey through the island nations of the South Pacific which include Fiji, Tahiti and other islands in the Society group and the Tuamotu Archipeligo, Hawaii, American Samoa, Tonga, the Cook Islands, and Noumea in New Caledonia. Subjects include the principal towns, the local people and some traditional buildings, occupations such as fishing, tourist excursion operators, and traders in shops and markets. Also beaches and other scenic landscapes. The last three pages of photographs are a record of delegates and events at the 16th South Pacific Conference held in Noumea.
