Description

Shows a man of the island of Tikei in the Tuamotus). He has tattooing on his torso, large discs in his ears, and a topknot. He wears gathered full bloomers.

Wahlen's book is a translation of his "Moeurs, usages et coutumes de tous les peuples du monde..." Bruxelles, 1843-44.
