Topographical map, with triangulations, of the area from Aruwaru to Palmerston which is part of the Tararua ranges. Includes named tracks, one of which is Carkeek's, and named streams. A handwritten note adjacent to the map states: Heights to be added to standard sheet - the Kahutarawa Stream is one of the branches of the Tureiti Stream.
Signature and initials on bottom left of map are difficult to decipher. Dates are 8.7.80. 8 2 83. 6.2.82.
Signature of F.W. Knowles is written below the title.
