- Description
Jim Anderton, in his role, as Minister for Biosecurity, is trying to roll away a huge stone in the shape of an apple from the mouth of a cave labelled 'Aussie Fruit Markets'. The cartoon refers to the difficulties that New Zealand is experiencing in trying to get our apples into Australia. The stone blocking the cave entrance is a reference to Jesus being laid in a stone-mouthed tomb after the crucifixion.
