Shows Shera, the mascot for the 2010 Commonwealth Games. Shera is a Bengal tiger who is holding his nose and appears to have toilet paper as a tail. Refers to the desperate effort being undertaken by the Indian authorities to have the Games venues and accommodation ready in time for the opening on 3rd October 2010. There have been problems with proper sanitation and a lack of running water and flushing toilets. Shera has been chosen as the mascot for the 19th Commonwealth Games to be held in New Delhi in 2010. At the closing ceremony in Melbourne CG 2006, Shera was first showcased in front of the world. Shera appeals to all age groups and asks them to 'Come out and play' and to makes the games a huge success by actively participating in it. He outlines the facts our nation is proud of: majesty, courage, power and grace.
