Description

Maori Party MP Hone Harawira says that he is going to clean up his language and show respect for the tax payer's dollar if the 'honkies will stop raping our land and show some respect for their mothers. Refers to the unofficial sidetrip taken by Harawira and his wife to Paris while in Europe at tax-payers' expense. Hone Harawira was widely criticised for this as well as his use of foul language and strong anti-Pakeha comments in an email. The cartoon shows Hone Harawira making the first of his two apologies in which the language is 'cleaned up' but the sentiment doesn't change.
