- Description
The cartoon shows a Swiss man dressed in leather pants and hat petting a huge St Bernard dog wearing a Red Cross barrel of rum around its neck and saying that in Switzerland they are thinking of extending animal rights to include legal representation in court. A New Zealand man in black singlet and boots with his mutt beside him tells him to keep his voice down as big ears are flapping over here. Refers to a new Swiss law that protects the rights of 'social' animals.
