Comprises photographs of: - the opening of Wellington Airport in 1959; - an international conference on safety of life at sea at Carlton House, London, taken by Boivin in 1960; - the Royal Tour of Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip in 1963, taken by Potts; - the visit of the King and Queen of Thailand in 1962, taken by Potts; - 'HamiltonJet' jet boat and owner, Bill Hamilton, taken by Boivin; - the Wanganella and Aramoana ferries, taken by Boivin; - Wairakei geothermal area, taken by Potts. Photographs show a railway bridge in the Manawatu, Evans Bay boatsheds, Rimutaka Hill Road, Foxton Beach, Wellington Harbour (ferry terminal and visiting Japanese ships), a cow grazing by Hutt Stream, Wairaki Power Station under construction. and the Savage Memorial at Bastion Point with a view of the Waitemata Harbour and Rangitoto Island. Also Māori rock drawings at an unidentified location. Building photographs include the interior and exterior of Old St Pauls, Wellington, and the exterior of Mansion House Kawau Island. Photographs from holidays in New Zealand show Dunedin (Lanarch Castle, Signal Hill New Zealand Centennial monument), Christchurch (Airport building, Taylor's Mistake, a car), and a mountain scene.
