Description

Digital cartoon by Emma Cook on political and social issues in New Zealand and internationally. Cartoon depicts a group of cats outside. Two of them are sitting on cardboard boxes, holding signs that read 'Cats need freedom' and 'Honk for freedom!'. Another cat is asleep under a sign that reads 'Free cat cuddles'. There are tins lying around labelled 'cat nip'. A cat with a dead bird in its mouth and bloody paws looks forlorn while another cat facepalms and says, "Oh bloody hell Mrs Lady cakes!! You're not helping!". Caption reads: "Will NZ copy Australian cat outside ban?".
