Description

Digital cartoon by Emma Cook on political and social issues in New Zealand and internationally. Cartoon depicts a chart on a wall showing supermarkets now exceeding banks in lack of trust from the public. Beside it hangs a sign that reads 'In profits we trust'. Two men in pinstripe shirts sit on bags of money, crying. A woman wearing a military-style dress with a name badge reading 'Chief' stands looking at the chart, her face streaked with tears. To the right stand two supermarket employees, one of whom says "At least they know how we feel now!". Caption reads: "Kiwis trust supermarkets less than banks!".
