Digital cartoon by Sharon Murdoch on political and social issues in New Zealand and internationally. Cartoon depicts five animals representing the qualities of a watchdog: Hawk - "the eyes of a hawk"; Fly - "a nose for bullsh!t"; Spider - "a body that's responsive"; Kiwi - "two feet that are grounded in Te Ao Māori"; Crocodile - "and teeth". A sixth animal - a trembling pug labelled ComCom [Commerce Commission] - has the words "Oh, well, you can't have everything. At least we've got a dog" below it. The caption reads: "What do you want in a watchdog?".
