Description

Digital cartoon by Chris Slane on political and social issues in New Zealand and internationally. Description from cartoonist reads: "Cartoon depicts two antiquated biplanes representing parties of the right wing in New Zealand. In a nimble yellow plane Act party leader David Seymour climbs ahead. In a rumpty blue National plane the pilot Christopher Luxon shouts to Nicola Willis “Oh no, he's gaining. Quickly, dump all our saner policies.” Dutifully, Willis jettisons five bulky bags labelled 'Farming Accord' 'Lower emissions' 'Housing accord, centrist policies' 'Maori’".
