Digital cartoon by Jeff Bell on political and social issues in New Zealand and internationally. Cartoon depicts a New Zealand kākāpō bird crying as his "superhero" Ashley Bloomfield leaves, then being encouraged by Bloomfield saying it was the "superhero all along, now mask up and get back to work". Refers to Ashley Bloomfield stepping down from the role of Director General of Health after leading New Zealand' response to COVID-19 pandemic for two years. In the first panel the kākāpō is wearing a t-shirt showing Bloomfield destroying a coronavirus with his laser vision. In the second panel the kākāpō is wearing a t-shirt showing a no symbol over a coronavirus.
