Description

Digital cartoon by Chris Slane on political and social issues in New Zealand and internationally. Cartoon depicts Auckland mayor Wayne Brown passing "the buck" bucket full of rain to hands that are refusing it. Brown is wearing a piece of the 'pie' backpack as he stands in floodwater and a rain storm filling his buckets of 'blunders', 'crankiness', 'ego', 'excuses', 'insults', 'lack of judgement', 'anger', 'back tracking', 'sneers', 'tennis', 'evasions', 'spin', 'fluffs', and 'scorn'. He says 'Sorry drongos, I'm too busy rushing out my own buckets'".
