Digital cartoon by Shaun Yeo on political and social issues in New Zealand and internationally. Depicts Jacinda Ardern, Ashley Bloomfield, and David Clark as surf life guards on duty at a beach. Bloomfield and Clark are sitting on a lifeguard tower with binoculars as Ardern is nearby about to put out the "Level 2" flags. Ardern asks if we are "...facing a second wave?". Bloomfield replies "not sure...we did nod off for a bit". refers to risk of a second wave of COVID-19 due to the mistake in allowing two people found to have fresh asymptomatic cases of Covid-19 to leave isolation on compassionate grounds without thorough testing.
