Digital cartoon by Jeff Bell on political and social issues in New Zealand and internationally. Cartoon depicts Dr Ashley Bloomfield playing cricket on a beach surrounded by native New Zealand birds. Bloomfield says "Shot NZ!" as he hits a ball into the sky. A kiwi says "We knocked it off!"; a kea asks "What? 2020?"; and a yellow-eyed penguin responds "Well, yeah. That one too.". In the sky a kereru flies towards the ball and in the bottom right corner a tui wearing a santa hat says "Take it easy Aotearoa, you deserve it! Merry Christmas!".
