- Description
Digital cartoon by Guy Body on political and social issues in New Zealand. Depicts Jacinda Ardern as a World War One military commander with three soliders, in a darkened bunker lit by a single candle. Ardern is seen looking at a field map of Auckland, with a speech bubble above drawn as a dark cloud. The three solders are dressed in full fatigues, including gas masks. Their speech bubbles read "The padre's talking tosh again, Ma'am!", "The leaflet says the Hun aren't really that dangerous, Ma'am!",and "some bloke told me bleach works better than masks, Ma'am!" File metadata reads "Guy Body editorial cartoon October 20 2021 plan to open up by christmas".
