- Description
Animation by Toby Morris and Siouxsie Wiles on vaccine effectiveness during the COVID-19 pandemic in Aotearoa New Zealand. Animation uses the analogy of a multiplayer computer game to explain how a vaccine works. In the animation the vaccine is explained as a computer game cheat code that enables the player to practice defeating the COVID-19 virus before encountering it. Animation is accompanied with the words “The more people are vaccinated, the more we win. When we’re vaccinated, we’re protecting the people around us too. Our parents, grandparents, communities, everyone.”
